Kyra Kennedy is Northern California born and raised. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Communication from Humboldt State University. Afterwards she attended Northern Arizona University, where she earned her Master’s Degree in Counseling-Student Affairs. Kyra has been a professional staff member within the UC Davis community since July of 2019, starting her time with Student Housing and Dining Services before joining the Case Manager team in July of 2023. Kyra has also been passionate about supporting student mental health and helping students find their sense of belonging on campus. As a Case Manager she gets to support students of all backgrounds and identities. Her work as a Case Manager includes a special focus on partnering with the Student Disability Center and Respondent Services. Outside of her role as a Case Manager, Kyra enjoys spending time with friends and family, sewing, painting, and hanging out with her cat Jiji!
